I have been a Commercial Photographer based in Pune city, India for the past 5 years. Now I am based in Canberra, ACT, Australia.
Before entering the field of Photography:
1994-2001 : I worked for a non-profit organization based in Germany, as a PA and Secretary to the Chief Administrator in India.
2001 - 2007 : I worked in the field of Medical Transcription as a Medical Transciptionist, leaving this field as an Assistant Manager. I have a degree in Arts (English, Psychology and Sociology as main subjects), a Certificate Course in Medical Transcription, in International Trade, and in Photography.
2005 - 2006 : I have done a one-year Certificate Course in Photograpy through Fergusson College, Pune via Maharashtra State Board of Vocational Studies.
2007 : I have worked for 6 months under the aegis of Fashion and Lifestyle photographer Harpreet Bacchher, assisting Advertising Photographers Amit Desai and Ritesh Ramaiah based in Pune & Mumbai, India.
2006 - 2007 : I have been a staff for 1 year at Fergusson College, teaching the subject of photography to students. During this period I was a member of the PSP (Photographic Society of Pune).
2008 : I started on my own as a Commercial Photographer. I have worked with Advertising agencies and Advertising Photographers; and done assignments in India for Mercedes-Benz, Atlas Copco, Tata Bluescope, KUL (Kumar Urban Development Ltd. / Kumar Builders), British Library, Aperture India etc..
2014 : Based in Canberra, ACT as an Advertising Photographer.
2021 : Moved to Brisbane-Gold Coast, QLD.
